Standard Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions:

Short term: any reservations made from 1 day up to 27 days.
Long term: any reservation made from 12 weeks onwards.
Deposit: monies paid that will be returned at departure, providing certain terms have been followed.

2. Cancellation policy:

 
City YMCA will issue a full refund provided that the approriate notice is given.  No refunds will be entertained once the notice period has lapsed.  The notice periods are as follows:
 
2.1 Short term: 48 hours from date of check in for reservations made from 1 night to 6 nights; 7 days for reservations between 7 to 27 days.
 
2.3 Long term: 28 days (4 weeks) for any reservations made from 12 weeks plus.


3. Long term conditions:

 
3.1 For long term bookings the minimum stay is 3 months, for which you wil have to give 4 weeks written notice prior to departure.
 
3.2 Your deposits will be return on the day of departure as long as the room is left in the same condition as it was on your arrival and you return your key.  Failure to do so may result in the loss of your deposit.

 
3.3 For long term bookings the minimum stay is 3 months, for which you will have to give 4 weeks written notice prior to departure.
 
3.4 For long term twin rooms, the price stated is per person and therefore each person is required to make an individual booking with payment.


4. Deposits:

 
4.1  By booking on-online you will have paid the room deposit for long term reservation, however you will also be required to pay the key deposit of £25.00 on arrival.
 
4.2 All deposits will be returned on the day of departure as long as the room is in the same condition as it was on your arrival and no rent, damage or other charges are outstanding to City YMCA.


5. Student subsidies:

 
You have been given the the subsidy on the information you have supplied on the booking form, you will need to produce the relevant documentation on arrival.  Failure to do so may result in the subsidy being removed and being placed on the normal tariff.


6. On arrival:

 
6.1 For long term reservations you will be expected to sign the licence agreement upon arrival.
 
6.2 Should you arrive during the night when the reception is closed it is your responsibility to contact reception the following day to sign the licence agreement and pay the key deposit.
 
6.3 You will need to pay 2 weeks rent in advance and then the weekly rent thereafter on the following Monday.
 
6.4 Failure to do so may result in the termination of your stay.


7. Website discrepancies:

 
7.1 Should there be any price discrepancies with your booking, for short term reservations (1 to 27 days) City YMCA will honour the price stated unless the value is lower than £20.00 per person per day.
 
7.2 For any amounts under £20.00 your booking will be recharged at £20.00 per person per night.  Should you choose not to accept this you are able to cancel your stay and receive a refund of all monies paid.
 
7.3 Should there be any price discrepancies with your booking, for long term reservationas (12 weeks plus), City YMCA will advise you at check in of the correct amount and charge you accordingly.  Should you decide this is not acceptable you will have the right to cancel your booking and receive a refund of all monies paid.

 

8. Payment terms:

 
8.1 For long term reservations you are expected to have a minimum of 1 week's credit on your account at any given time.
 
8.2 Rent will be applied to your account every Monday, where possible.
 
8.3 For short term reservations you will have paid for your entire stay, should you wish to extend your stay, payment will need to made in advance to this being agreed.

 

 9. General:

 
9.1 By completing the booking you are entering into an agreement with City YMCA and are accepting the terms and conditions laid out above.
