City YMCA, London is a multi-site organisation operating a youth centre, a hostel and a range of youth projects working with more than 1500 young people per year across four London boroughs.
The Youth Projects department operates from The Drum, a four storey converted pub, located in South Islington.  Within this facility there is a training/project space, a computer suite and a counselling service for young people.

This post is to assist the Housing & Youth Manager to provide training, coaching and support to the Housing Team in order to provide a direct housing service to vulnerable young people aged 16-25 at the Hackney Wick hostel.

We are recruiting for a dedicated and innovative Housing Worker to join the Team to provide a direct housing service to vulnerable young people aged 16 – 25. You will assist young people to move on to independent living including referral management, initial assessments, upholding of house rules, benefit support, budgeting and life skills support.  

Housing Worker Assistant - Permanent Post

£14,603 per annum - pro rata

12 Hours per week

We are recruiting two Housing Worker Assistants:
Position 1 - located at Hackney Wick hostel, Hackney, 
Position 2 - located at Errol Street hostel, South Islington.



Permanent Contract, based at Errol Street hostel

£25,935 per annum

We need a dedicated Housing Team Leader to provide managerial responsibility to the Housing Workers at the Errol Street Housing project.
