Housing Worker x 2

£17,428 per annum pro rata

6 Months Fixed Term Contract
(35 hours per week on a rota basis)

We need two dedicated and innovative Housing Workers to join the Team to provide a direct housing service to vulnerable young people aged 16 – 25. You will assist young people to move on to independent living including referral management, initial assessments, upholding of house rules, benefit support, budgeting and life skills support.
As part of your role, you will also undertake reception duties.  You will act as the main point of contact for all City YMCA, London stakeholders and fulfil residents, catering and conference users, contractor and visitor’s needs/ requirements.





6 Months Fixed Term Contract

(35 hours per week on a shift basis, including weekends)


We need a dedicated Housing Team Leader to provide managerial responsibility to the Housing Team, providing a direct housing service to vulnerable young people aged 16-25.  The main objective of the team is to help young people to move to independent living by providing a number of support services.

As part of your role you will manage the Team of Housing Workers at the hostel (114 rooms), which provides short term temporary accommodation for young people from a variety of backgrounds.  The hostel reception is open 24/7 - 365 days a year and has four conference rooms for public hire.
